Welcome to k2p2.net, a weblog about knitting.  I know, there are thousands of knitting blogs out there.  How will this one be different?  Let me tell you.  This blog will have more than pictures of lovely knitting, and playful cats (although we’ll have plenty of those to keep you entertained).  This blog will also review new and recent knitting books, yarn stores that I visit throughout my travels, and will get regular updates from the ladies at our own local knitting group in the suburbs of Chicago.

There will occasionally be recipes, with photos, mild rants about men (espcially as my wedding fast approaches), and insights into the odd workings of the temp/freelance writer lifestyle.

So, pull up a comfy chair, grab a cup of coffee, and pull out your yarn.  We have a lot of ground to cover.
